OMRON Industrial Automation Business is hiring an Automation Sales Engineer to conduct sales engineering and promote our automation business across assigned customers and industries. In this role, you will be directly responsible for achieving sales revenue and profit targets while implementing strategic account plans. You will contribute to OMRON's mission to improve lives and contribute to a better society.
What You'll Do
- Promote automation business in assigned customers and industries to achieve sales revenue and profit goals.
- Take responsibility for meeting individual sales targets, budgets, and KPIs assigned on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Develop and implement sales plans aligned with industrial strategy, tactics, and directions.
- Drive sales of base systems, solutions, and services against clear targets.
- Execute standard sales activities, including consistent customer visits, calls, demonstrations, and presentations.
- Commit to following PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) implementation to ensure performance and efficiency.
- Promote account planning as a core sales operation, covering key customers as part of Global Industry Strategy (GIS) implementation.
What We're Looking For
- A High Vocational Degree in electrical, electronics, or mechanical engineering.
- Proven 3-5 years of sales experience in industrial automation or a related field.
- Knowledge of industrial technologies, including automation, robots, vision systems, and key products such as sensors, temperature controllers, and components.
- Ability to read, write, and present effectively in English.

- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
