Responsibilities
- Create quality inspection systems using sensor technology
- Design automated machinery for assembly and packaging processes
- Connect factory equipment to Plex Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Develop autonomous guided vehicle (AGV) systems for material transport
- Build machine vision solutions for product inspection
- Implement Andon systems and real-time production tracking tools
- Work hands-on in the production environment to design and construct functional equipment

- Experience in controls engineering
- Background in mechatronics
- Knowledge of robotics systems
- Skill in mechanical design
- Familiarity with industrial automation
- Training in manufacturing engineering
- Proficiency with PLCs including Allen Bradley and Siemens
- Understanding of sensors and industrial input/output systems
- Experience with machine vision technologies
- Work with robotics or collaborative robots (cobots)
- CAD experience for designing fixtures or automated components
- SQL knowledge and experience integrating with MES platforms
