About the Role
The AutoCAD Designer/Drafter will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings essential for the planning and execution of infrastructure projects. This role supports engineering efforts through accurate and timely documentation.
Responsibilities
- Produce precise technical drawings using AutoCAD software
- Support engineering teams with drafting and design documentation
- Convert conceptual designs into detailed construction plans
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards and codes
- Revise and update existing drawings as project needs evolve
- Collaborate with project managers and field personnel
- Maintain organized records of all design files
- Assist in the development of schematics for electrical systems
- Prepare documentation for client and regulatory submissions
- Participate in design reviews and technical meetings
Nice to Have
- Experience with fiber optic or wireless network designs
- Knowledge of civil or structural drafting standards
- Exposure to project documentation workflows
- Autodesk certification in AutoCAD
- Background in telecommunications infrastructure
