About the Role

This role involves leading audit engagements, supervising staff, and ensuring adherence to professional standards while delivering reliable financial insights to clients across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of audit engagements for clients in multiple sectors
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members during fieldwork and reporting phases
  • Review financial statements and internal controls for accuracy and compliance
  • Identify risks and recommend improvements in financial reporting processes
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP, GAAS, and other regulatory standards
  • Prepare detailed audit documentation and workpapers
  • Coordinate with client personnel to gather necessary financial data
  • Conduct on-site and virtual fieldwork as project needs require
  • Perform analytical procedures to assess financial trends and anomalies
  • Collaborate with engagement teams to resolve complex accounting issues
  • Deliver final reports and present findings to client management
  • Maintain quality control standards across all audit deliverables
  • Support internal review processes and peer consultations
  • Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist in developing audit methodologies and templates
  • Participate in client retention and satisfaction initiatives
  • Manage timelines and resources to meet project deadlines
  • Escalate critical findings to senior leadership when necessary
  • Support training programs for new and existing staff
  • Ensure ethical standards and independence requirements are met
  • Work across industries including technology, healthcare, and nonprofit
  • Utilize audit software and data analytics tools effectively
  • Contribute to process improvements within the assurance division
  • Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication
  • Support special projects and advisory assignments as needed
