Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is hiring an Audiologist to join our team in providing diagnostic and habilitation/rehabilitation services for patients with hearing, balance, or other ear-related health conditions. This is a full-time, salaried position at 40 hours per week that requires travel between our Lake Forest and Glenview clinics.
What You'll Do
- Obtain case history and formulate an appropriate individualized evaluation plan.
- Perform comprehensive adult audiologic evaluations and counsel patients on results and recommendations.
- Assess individual amplification options, select appropriate devices, verify fitting appropriateness, and utilize real-ear measurement techniques.
- Provide patient education on the care and use of amplification devices, discuss purchase agreement terms, address post-fitting issues, and make programming adjustments as needed.
- Perform, analyze, and report on electrophysiologic procedures.
- Provide clinical instruction and evaluation of doctoral students.
- Identify and evaluate cochlear implant candidates, provide post-surgical activation, programming, rehabilitation, and follow-up services, and perform appropriate documentation of all services provided.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Audiologist License in the state of Illinois.
- Master's degree or higher from an accredited program in Audiology.
- Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in a relevant role.
- CPR BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
Nice to Have
- 1-2 years of adult cochlear implant experience.
