What You'll Do
Oversee all aspects of audio production for live events, from initial setup to final breakdown. Operate audio control boards and ensure optimal sound quality throughout performances. Coordinate load-in and load-out of band and rental equipment, managing cabling, patching, and system configuration with precision.
Deliver consistent, professional audio mixes while maintaining safe sound levels. Supervise visiting audio technicians during shows and support seamless integration with in-house systems. Work closely with production staff, lighting teams, and stage managers to support smooth event execution across the venue.
Develop and distribute audio plans, assist with technical coordination for artists, and ensure all special event audio requirements are met with professionalism. Maintain strong relationships with local and national audio vendors and support ongoing technical needs for diverse performances.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in tour and stage production
- Proven familiarity with professional audio systems, stage lighting, and basic video setups
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications
- High School Diploma required; college degree preferred
