Florida Power & Light Company / NextEra Energy is hiring an Attorney to support EverBright's residential solar business as a transactional attorney. You will provide legal and commercial guidance to business leaders while ensuring all activities meet legal requirements.
What You'll Do
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents for the residential solar business.
- Provide legal and commercial guidance to business leaders.
- Oversee transactions ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Handle multiple transactions concurrently.
- Draft contract amendments.
- Review and advise the business regarding disputes.
- Manage vendor and other agreements related to the residential solar business.
- Participate in complex legal matters and projects.
- Deliver timely and quality legal services to clients with minimal supervision.
- Provide written and oral legal advice to clients.
- Anticipate and guard against legal risks involving the organization.
- Work to ensure budget compliance and avoid the need for outside counsel.
- Ensure disclosure of potentially material legal issues to senior leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Member in Good Standing of a State Bar.
- High School Grad / GED.
- Juris Doctorate.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with the residential solar business.
