Responsibilities
- Set up, sustain, and enhance Jira Software and Jira Service Management instances.
- Develop intricate workflows, permission structures, screen layouts, and issue configurations.
- Build sophisticated automation rules to minimize manual tasks and improve efficiency.
- Oversee integrations with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, source code repositories, and IT service management systems.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and optimal performance.
- Manage Confluence spaces, access controls, templates, and content hierarchies.
- Encourage consistent documentation using reusable templates and governance policies.
- Maintain effective, accessible, and uniform knowledge management standards.
- Lead initiatives to organize Confluence content to meet business objectives.
- Serve as a go-to expert for Agile, product, and IT teams on best practices for Jira and Confluence.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and knowledge transfer activities.
- Address escalated technical issues and complex configuration problems.
- Assist teams in integrating Atlassian tools with Agile and ITSM methodologies.
- Define governance frameworks and enforce platform standards and operational guidelines.
- Administer and refine third-party apps from the Atlassian Marketplace including XRay for test management, ScriptRunner for automation, Insight/Assets for CMDB, and planning tools like Automation for Jira and BigPicture.
- Work with security, compliance, and enterprise architecture groups.
- Evaluate and recommend uses for Atlassian Rovo and AI-powered capabilities.
- Apply smart automation and documentation solutions to boost productivity.
- Continuously identify innovations to enhance usability and reduce administrative burden.
