Work on the 3rd shift as a key contributor in the assembly, testing, and evaluation of high-performance systems. This role supports critical delivery schedules through precise execution of technical procedures, environmental and vibration testing, and detailed documentation of results. You'll apply advanced diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and refine complex components, ensuring reliability and compliance with engineering standards.
What You'll Do
- Carry out precision assembly, functional testing, and inspection of electro-mechanical systems using detailed drawings, work instructions, and parts lists
- Set up and run vibration and environmental tests in lab environments to validate system performance
- Conduct manual testing and data plotting for servo valve components, including nozzle flapper and deflector jet configurations
- Assemble and test actuators, documenting results and identifying deviations from expected outcomes
- Analyze test failures, evaluate hardware conditions, and recommend corrective actions or configuration adjustments
- Generate clear, accurate reports and maintain records such as work instructions, ATP data, and measurement logs
- Support administrative operations, including data processing and evaluation documentation
- Occasionally work outside standard hours to meet delivery requirements
- Assist in training team members on assembly and test procedures as needed
Requirements
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow verbal, written, and digital work instructions in English
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in assembly and test environments, with demonstrated expertise in test execution and data recording
