As the Product Development Manager – Digital Solutions at Bradken, you will transform strategic digital ambitions into deliverable products by collaborating with Product Managers, Sales teams, and technology specialists. You will play a central role in defining digital roadmaps, leading scoping and design, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring successful market adoption through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
What You'll Do
- Turn strategic digital ambitions into real, deliverable products
- Work closely with Product Managers, Sales teams, and technology specialists to shape the digital roadmap
- Define priorities and translate high-level objectives into actionable projects
- Stay across emerging technologies and identify new opportunities
- Ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the development journey
- Lead the scoping and design of digital solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user requirements, solution designs, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, cybersecurity requirements, and relevant quality frameworks
- Act as the key decision-maker for product direction
- Oversee project delivery once scopes are approved
- Maintain close communication with internal and external technology teams
- Manage scope changes and provide regular progress updates
- Run field trials and user acceptance testing
- Balance speed to market with quality and scalability
- Guide products through beta, early-release, and full-release stages with clear communication to the business
- Ensure training materials, technical documentation, and marketing support are developed and delivered effectively
- Enable sales, engineering, and applications teams to confidently take digital products to market
- Champion continuous improvement by gathering user feedback and analysing insights
- Support regional teams with product investigations and enhancements
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in digital product development and project management, preferably relating to Mining product and/or IoT applications
- Strong general understanding of digital solution architectures including IoT, edge processing, comms networks and software development within a Mining application
- Ability to produce quality, detailed technical and user training documentation
- Experience with conducting field trials and user acceptance testing
- Experience in project management with demonstrated experience of using agile methodologies
- Understanding of waterfall methods and capital funding requirements in a corporate environment
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in parallel, on time and on budget
