What You'll Do
Deliver consistent, high-quality service in the Selection Restaurant, ensuring every guest experience meets established standards for food presentation, timing, and hospitality. Maintain seamless coordination with the Selection Maitre D’Hotel and sanitation teams to uphold strict SHIP-SAN compliance, including proper handling and disposal protocols.
Oversee the readiness and presentation of tableware, linens, and service equipment, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing loss or damage. Assist in conducting regular audits and prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports. Communicate promptly with leadership regarding maintenance needs, scheduling adjustments, and interdepartmental coordination involving deck, technical, and hotel operations.
Manage special dietary requests with precision, ensuring accurate delivery from kitchen to guest. Lead proper wine service procedures and monitor adherence to service protocols. Support emergency preparedness and contribute to a safe, secure environment for both guests and crew.
Requirements
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold full STCW certification along with a valid seafarer’s passport or identity card. Recruitment is open to citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Fluency in Russian is required; intermediate or higher English proficiency is necessary, depending on role level.
Five or more years of progressive experience in food and beverage service within upscale hotels or cruise environments is mandatory. Demonstrated strengths in customer relations, conflict resolution, and teamwork are essential. Candidates must be comfortable working in high-pressure, dynamic settings and committed to maintaining excellence in service delivery.
