What You'll Do
As a Selection Hostess, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests boarding the vessel, creating a welcoming environment from arrival. You’ll manage guest reservations with precision, using digital systems to track bookings and communicate updates to kitchen and service teams. You’ll organize seating layouts based on server zones, table availability, and guest preferences, adjusting in real time for walk-ins and peak hours.
You’ll maintain an accurate wait-list, keeping guests informed of wait times and offering suggestions to improve their experience. Acting as a central link between guests, servers, and kitchen staff, you’ll relay special requests, dietary restrictions, and service updates efficiently. You’ll also stay informed about menu offerings, daily features, and preparation details to answer guest questions confidently.
