What You'll Do
Manage front desk operations with professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring guests receive prompt and courteous service throughout their journey. Handle passenger check-ins during embarkation by processing cruise tickets, passports, and landing documentation accurately and efficiently.
Respond to guest inquiries, resolve concerns quickly, and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor. In emergencies, coordinate with bridge personnel to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, deposits, and complaints, ensuring all incidents are logged and addressed.
Oversee the Lost & Found system by documenting found items, securing belongings, and obtaining verification signatures. Control access to safety deposit boxes with strict logging procedures, including time-stamped entries and verified signatures. Support internal communication across departments and keep management informed of operational updates or maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Recruitment is open to candidates from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan
- Fluent in Russian; intermediate or higher English proficiency depending on role level
- Valid STCW certification and seafarer’s passport or identity card required
Preferred Qualifications
Preference is given to candidates with a degree in hospitality or a related field, along with at least five years of progressive experience in upscale hotels or cruise environments—including three years in a reception role. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are essential. Familiarity with customer service evaluation methods, service delivery systems, and personalized guest support techniques is highly valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal software platforms is expected. The role demands resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced maritime environment.
