What You'll Do
Oversee all aspects of the Food & Beverage Department on a cruise vessel, ensuring operations align with company standards and guest expectations. Lead a team of department heads and supervisors to meet performance targets while maintaining high levels of service quality and operational efficiency.
Monitor budgets, analyze financial reports, and adjust strategies to maximize revenue and control costs. Ensure inventory systems are properly maintained, supplies are ordered according to schedule, and stock levels remain optimal across all outlets.
Coordinate with the Executive Chef on menu planning based on availability and itinerary, and work with the Chief Housekeeper to manage in-suite amenities. Enforce compliance with operational manuals and ensure all venues are equipped with necessary materials.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible for recruitment from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, or Kyrgyzstan
- Fluent in Russian; English proficiency from intermediate to fluent depending on role level
- Valid STCW certification and seafarer’s passport or identity card
- Minimum of ten years of progressive management experience in upscale hospitality or cruise F&B operations, including at least five years as a Food & Beverage Manager
- Proven leadership skills in multicultural environments, with strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Experience in workforce planning, resource allocation, and interdepartmental coordination
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications
A degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
Technical Skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, IISII, Fidelio Cruise, and Linux systems is required for daily operations and reporting.
