Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management (GSAM) is seeking an Associate to join the Global Alternative Investment Client Service team. In this role, you will provide excellent client service to investors from Europe and Asia regions for Goldman Sachs Offshore Hedge and Private Equity Funds. You will be responsible for proactive client service, identifying enhancements, and day-to-day client trade order and query handling.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with clients, regional sales teams, and internal distribution teams to contribute to the GSAM Funds distribution effort.
- Coordinate onboarding events including AML, Legal and Compliance reviews for Hedge and Private Equity fund products.
- Handle and coordinate monthly and quarterly transactions in the Funds.
- Work with global teams to manage multiple Fund closes throughout the year and ensure regulatory and company compliance standards are met.
- Research and understand the business requirements of various regions where GSAM Funds are distributed and communicate this back for implementation.
- Pro-actively identify enhancements for clients and communicate these internally.
- Leverage data analytics to automate various functions within the team and identify ways to make processes more streamlined.
- Engage with external vendor teams to ensure processes and procedures are completed as per firm standards.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience within AML operations.
- A highly collaborative nature and strong consensus builder.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in vendor relationship management.
- Experience in handling client communication and queries.
- A Bachelor’s degree.
