Responsibilities
- Create a strategic vision for planned giving and community investment.
- Oversee and support the landscape of planned giving and endowment and foundation professionals in the field, to share best practices and resources from JFNA.
- Lead and model the integration of planned giving fundraising efforts into all areas of JFNA fundraising initiatives and efforts; develop evaluation metrics and goals for all initiatives related to planned giving.
- Assess the assets, distributions and total value of endowment programs annually to support national and local leadership engagement, peer benchmarking in coordination with Impact and Growth team.
- Represent and position JFNA in larger Jewish and secular philanthropic networks in PG&E and philanthropic advising spaces.
- Support and grow Donor Advised Fund strategy, marketing, and stewardship across the system.
- Monitor legislation and regulation dealing with charitable giving and endowments, in partnership with the Washington DC office of JFNA.
- When necessary and appropriate, advocate for policies.
- Partner with senior professionals to expand capacity in philanthropic advisory, policy and governance, professional development and donor engagement.
- Identify and analyze market opportunities that may be scaled system wide; mobilize national partners in support of strategic priorities.
- Curate and steward national resource bank policies, governance and procedures regarding planned-giving and community investments.
- Oversee design, develop, curate, and project-manage ongoing and robust legacy and endowment training opportunities (in person and online).
- Manage and support program instructors/facilitators, both external and JFNA’s subject matter experts, determine workflows, timelines, logistics, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with teams across JFNA and outside facilitators to ensure quality and excellence and support for key tasks, including session scripting, production, marketing, logistics, and budgeting.
- Create an updated and integrated strategy for PG&E campaigns and products, as well as supporting JFNA and system-wide priority area efforts with base current messaging and marketing materials; develop channels of distribution and ease of access for system professionals.

Compensation
Salary Range- $170-$190K
Additional Information
- Preference for candidates commutable to NYC or DC office.
- Key liaison for PG&E professionals in the system and consults with communities on an as needed basis.
- Current Federation employees who move to a finalist round of interviews will be asked to communicate with the Federation about their candidacy.
