Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-capacity donors, with a strong focus on identifying and acquiring new major gifts of $10,000 or above.
- Conduct face-to-face solicitations and deliver personalized stewardship that strengthens relationships and increases philanthropic support across multiple campaigns.
- Partner with development leadership to implement data-informed strategies that build a robust pipeline of future major donors.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure high-quality donor experiences and maximize overall philanthropic outcomes.
- Help design and actively participate in high-impact events, meetings, and missions that bring donors closer to the Federation’s mission and demonstrate community impact.
- Work alongside lay leaders, volunteers, and professional staff to leverage community networks and deepen donor relationships.
- Maintain detailed donor records in the CRM system and regularly report on key fundraising metrics, including retention, upgrades, and new donor acquisition.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of nonprofit fundraising or relationship management experience, with a strong emphasis on major gifts.
- A proven track record of securing gifts of $10,000+.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build authentic relationships.
- A deep passion for Jewish values, community, and philanthropy.
- Experience using donor management systems such as Raiser’s Edge or Salesforce.
- A self-motivated, organized approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Compensation
Competitive salary range of $140,000 – $150,000
