Precision for Medicine (Precision Medicine Group) is hiring an Associate Vice President, Clinical Services - Market Access Marketing

Responsibilities

  • Oversee content creation for the Clinical Services department across a portfolio of 5 to 7 major accounts, with volume subject to client size
  • Lead and manage key departmental initiatives such as onboarding, student recruitment, and innovation projects independently
  • Serve as a mediator to resolve escalated issues between internal teams and external partners using a solutions-focused approach
  • Act as the primary medical expert in developing and presenting brand strategies, long-term planning, and tactical execution for assigned clients and emerging opportunities
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturer goals, managed markets dynamics, and marketing business models
  • Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures for Clinical Services tailored to individual accounts, and deliver relevant training when necessary
  • Coordinate resource planning and allocation across accounts and project streams in collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet business demands
  • Provide timely performance feedback and coaching to direct and indirect team members, including oversight of personal development plans
  • Directly and indirectly supervise at least six Clinical Services staff members, including a minimum of one Senior Medical Director or two Medical Directors
  • Uphold and promote organizational values known as the PRECISION Principles, emphasizing client service, purpose, accountability, and teamwork

Responsibilities

  • Support content development needs of the Clinical Services department as oversight for multiple large books of business (5 -7 assigned accounts but varies based on size)
  • Independently develop and lead Clinical Services department key initiatives such on-boarding, student recruitment, or innovation
  • Act as mediator and resolve escalated issues between internal and external stakeholders in a solutions-oriented manner
  • Act as the medical lead in the creation and presentation of brand planning, strategic development, and tactical plans for assigned accounts and new business opportunities as they arise
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturer, managed markets, and marketing business strategies
  • Ensure account-specific Clinical Services standard operating procedures are developed and maintained for all clients under purview and conduct Clinical Services training as needed (account and department)
  • Plan and allocate resources across accounts and workstreams based on business needs in conjunction with other internal stakeholders in a solutions-oriented manner
  • Independently responsible for ensuring team under purview is provided with timely feedback on performance and coaching to support their development (direct and indirect reports), including tracking of personal development plans
  • Supervise 6+ Clinical Services team members directly and indirectly, including a minimum of 1 Senior Medical Director or 2+ Medical Directors
