Clarivate is looking for an Associate STEM Content Analyst - Pharma Bio to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for indexing and coding biological compounds in patents and extracting scientific information for our Derwent Innovation product.
What You'll Do
- Index and code biological compounds found in patents.
- Extract detailed information about recombinant technology, genetic engineering, fermentation, and enzyme nomenclature from patent documents.
- Identify key biological elements such as macromolecules (proteins, receptors, antibodies), detection techniques, vaccines, and hybrid plants from patents.
- Upskill in areas like Pharma, Bio, intellectual property, and data analysis.
What We're Looking For
- A graduate degree in M.Sc Biotechnology, M.Sc Biochemistry, M.Sc Microbiology, M.Sc. Molecular Biology, or B.Tech Biotechnology.
- This role is open to freshers or candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in Bio or Pharma-based content editing (not related to Research & Development).
Nice to Have
- Elementary proficiency in one or more foreign languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish).
- Experience in patent analysis and skill in content writing and analysis.
Team & Environment
You will join a team of 20+ members with a diverse group of professionals in different grades, from Associate Content Analysts to Content Analysts. The team reports to Content Managers located in India and London.
Work Mode
This is a local-city role based in Chennai.
