About the Role

Oriental Bank is looking for an Associate, Retail Channels (Chat) to provide direct support and communication to channels. You will support strategies and initiatives to further the adoption of digital channels among customers. This is an on-site position based in Bayamón, PR.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver proactive and dynamic customer service with a positive and helpful attitude toward internal and external customers.
  • Refer customers to digital channel options according to their specific needs.
  • Support the definition and development of digital channels adoption strategies for existing and new clients.
  • Visit physical channels to provide feedback and communicate defined strategies related to digital channels adoption.
  • Apply insights and data from direct observation to create digital briefs and customer journeys.
  • Stay up to date on current and future digital channels capabilities to provide cutting-edge insights and guidance.
  • Participate in presentations as an expert in the digital channels arena.
  • Participate in the testing process as part of the development of new digital tools.
  • Support the generation of continuous motivation, contests, and different initiatives to achieve results.
  • Support the preparation of processes, communications, guides, fact sheets, or any necessary documentation to serve as tools for branches.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in finance or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a financial services company or related management work.
  • Excellent knowledge in industry operating policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills to determine critical issues, identify areas for improvement, and find creative solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create processes, lead projects, communicate results, and implement new policies.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), reporting systems, and other business applications.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US.
