The Associate Product Owner ensures the Provider Data Management product delivers maximum value by aligning the agile team’s backlog with customer needs and business goals. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across Operations, Health Care Innovation, Technology, and Product teams to drive successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the agile team’s backlog is prioritized and aligned with customer requirements and approved business cases to maximize product value and team output.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through ongoing communication and feedback loops to represent their needs and achieve desired product results.
- Define and communicate the product vision clearly to the agile team to guide development efforts.
- Identify, define, and prioritize work items based on measurable business value outcomes.
- Support the Provider Data Management product, which encompasses complex systems and workflows used by providers, credentialing, and contracting teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and agile teams to foster alignment, build consensus, and advance initiatives across departments such as Operations, Health Care Innovation, and Technology.
- Coordinate with multiple Product teams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs), particularly the Care Op ART, and engage with Network, Payment Integrity, and Health Care Innovation teams.
- Focus on high-impact work that supports program performance objectives to enhance efficiency and deliver measurable results.
