Avalere Health is seeking a senior-level Associate Principal / Principal, Policy Analytics and Modeling to join our Advisory – Policy division. In this role, you will apply advanced quantitative analysis and modeling to inform critical healthcare policy decisions, providing strategic insights to clients and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Develop, build, and interpret sophisticated policy models and analytics frameworks.
- Lead quantitative research to assess the impact of healthcare legislation, regulation, and market trends.
- Translate complex modeling results into clear, actionable insights for internal teams and external clients.
- Collaborate with policy experts to design research methodologies and validate analytical approaches.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts in best practices for data analysis and modeling.
What We're Looking For
- Senior-level experience in a policy analytics, health economics, or quantitative consulting role.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and utilizing complex models for policy or economic analysis.
- Strong foundation in healthcare policy, including Medicare, Medicaid, and/or commercial insurance.
- Proven ability to lead analytical projects and communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to data and model validation.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position. Candidates can be based remotely anywhere in the US, or work from our offices in Washington, DC or New York, NY.
