Arup is looking for an Associate Principal Environmental & Social Advisory Services to spearhead the expansion of our Climate and Sustainability Services across Southeast Asia. This senior role is pivotal in shaping market strategy, securing key projects, and providing expert oversight on environmental and social advisory work.
What You'll Do
- Identify, shape, and deliver Business and Marketing strategies for Climate and Sustainability Services across Southeast Asia.
- Identify and evaluate growth opportunities for Environmental and Social Advisory services, managing proposals for key clients.
- Lead the Environmental and Social Advisory team in business development and client engagement activities.
- Represent Arup at industry events, conferences, and forums, communicating on market trends and regulatory changes.
- Build and develop new skills within the Southeast Asia Environmental and Social Advisory team, supporting its growth.
What We're Looking For
- At least 15 years of professional experience within the relevant industry or field.
- Demonstrated success in Business and Marketing in Southeast Asia, particularly in business development and building client relationships in Environmental and Social Advisory.
- Proven experience in a consulting and advisory environment.
- Proven experience in developing teams and business areas.
- You are recognised as an expert within your chosen industry or field.
- Knowledge applying international Climate and Sustainability standards such as ADB, IFC, World Bank, EDGE, or LEED.
Nice to Have
- Strong preference for experience in Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, and Environmental and Social Due Diligence.

You will work closely with regional Climate and Sustainability Services specialists.
