Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company is hiring an Associate Medical/Scientific Director, National Medical Partnerships - U.S. Global Aesthetics Medical Affairs (Remote)

About the Role

What You'll Do

Lead the creation and implementation of medical strategies for top national accounts, ensuring alignment with scientific priorities and enterprise goals. Serve as the principal medical contact for senior decision-makers, including executive leadership and advisory boards, fostering scientifically grounded discussions that support clinical and strategic planning.

Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Research teams to ensure cohesive messaging, coordinated educational programming, and readiness across product portfolios. Identify opportunities to generate real-world evidence and convert clinical insights into strategic recommendations for internal stakeholders.

Design and lead scalable, science-driven educational initiatives tailored to national account needs. Support high-impact forums such as advisory boards, training programs, and scientific conferences by providing medical expertise. Maintain strict adherence to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards in all scientific interactions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical affairs or a comparable scientific leadership role
  • Track record of engaging senior stakeholders, including C-suite and advisory board members
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based medicine and clinical research principles
  • Experience crafting medical strategies that support business objectives
  • Ability to interpret clinical data and shape actionable insights
  • Deep familiarity with aesthetics or dermatology therapeutics
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on balanced, credible scientific exchange
  • Experience operating within medical, legal, and regulatory guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, R&D, and Medical Affairs
  • Field-based medical experience with national account engagement
  • Knowledge of Allergan Aesthetics’ product portfolio or similar aesthetic treatments
  • Experience contributing to congresses, advisory boards, or medical education initiatives
