InterContinental Grenada (IHG) was looking for an Associate Manager, Brand Strategy & Planning

IHG is looking for an Associate Manager, Brand Strategy & Planning to serve as a key liaison between an assigned brand team and corporate resources, agencies, vendors, and hotels. In this role, you will support essential brand functions including marketing initiative development, vendor coordination, and the management of the brand experience space.

What You'll Do

  • Assist leadership in developing marketing initiatives, including program specifications and collateral materials.
  • Serve as the primary brand liaison with stakeholders for brand development and the launch of the first branded hotels.
  • Coordinate the development of support tools for educating agency and internal staff on brand delivery.
  • Complete and manage special projects, establishing project timetables and providing status updates.
  • Research and compile data, creating spreadsheets or databases for management reporting.
  • Prepare departmental reporting and presentation materials by gathering and summarizing information.
  • Manage coordination, upkeep, and enhancements to the brand experience space and prototypes.
  • Monitor departmental budgets, including vendor billing, invoice coding, tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Manage the availability and distribution of brand resources to hotels, agencies, partners, and internal audiences.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in a corporate marketing environment or Hotel Operations.
  • Demonstrated clear, concise, and succinct verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant labor market, economic conditions, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and track multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent, high-quality, customer-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to use analysis for effective program decisions.

  • Experience analyzing Demand360 market data.
