Happy Money is hiring an Associate I for our Placement Team to guide clients through purchasing life insurance policies. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service support after the initial intake, ensuring a smooth experience through to policy activation by collaborating closely with Case Management and Quality Assurance.
What You'll Do
- Become a licensed expert in life insurance products through hands-on training and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure a transparent customer experience by providing regular updates via phone, email, and SMS.
- Maintain consistent availability at or above predetermined goals for incoming and outgoing calls.
- Retain customers in danger of withdrawing from the process and follow up on all outstanding requirements.
- Navigate insurance carrier websites and our proprietary CRM system, mastering workflows and proactively troubleshooting.
- Address customer questions regarding underwriting, decision review, policy delivery, and in-force servicing.
- Deliver clear and empathetic communication regarding adverse underwriting decisions, offering alternative options.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams and document detailed notes to ensure smooth handoffs.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of client-facing experience in call center customer service and/or retention sales.
- Willingness to obtain a Life/Health insurance license.
- A customer-centered mindset motivated by solving problems for customers and your team.
- Strong communication and effective listening skills with an attention to detail, especially when handling escalated clients.
- Skilled in multitasking and quickly switching between calls, tasks, and systems.
- Eagerness to support the full sales lifecycle, including administering health questionnaires and leveraging consultative upselling techniques.
- Ability to provide and receive actionable feedback to drive efficiency and a best-in-class customer experience.
