As an Associate Financial Planner, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and advancing client financial strategies throughout the year. Working closely with senior planners and partners, you’ll help prepare client materials, analyze tax returns, and support implementation of financial plans across investments, retirement, and business-related planning.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and maintain client consult files in coordination with a Data Input Specialist for annual planning meetings
- Support Financial Planners in identifying and executing planning opportunities tailored to client goals
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring consistent service and communication
- Conduct financial analysis and tax planning for individual and business entities owned by clients
- Review year-end tax projections and analyze annual income tax returns for accuracy and planning alignment
- Reconcile investment portfolios to ensure asset allocations reflect current client objectives
- Participate in client meetings to provide planning insights and assist with implementation follow-up
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate plan execution
- Assist in training and quality review of the Data Input Specialist’s deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Tax, or a related field
- Active pursuit or current standing as a CPA, CFP, or CFA candidate; certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel functions
- Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail and effective time management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and team interactions

Work Mode
This role begins with an in-office requirement for the first six months to ensure onboarding and proficiency. After training, it transitions to a hybrid model requiring at least three days per week in the office—typically Monday, Thursday, and Friday—with some flexibility in scheduling permitted based on business needs and management approval.
