Shell is hiring an Associate Engineer - OCC

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 2-3 years of experience in Commissioning or Operations & Maintenance within the Oil & Gas, Power or Petrochemicals sector
  • Experience in Operations, Maintenance & troubleshooting of Static & Rotating equipment like Pumps, Gearboxes, Compressors, Vessels, Turbine, Valves, Exchanger’s, (or) Electrical Equipment’s like Motors, Transformer, Switchgear, VFD’s, UPS & Battery systems (or) instrumentation & control equipment’s
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills for this role is Semi-Skilled - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook

Nice to Have

  • Experience in conditional monitoring & operational analysis
  • Experience in Technical Data and Documents management including processes and tools. For example, experience in SAP PM module implementation, skill in MS Office tools like Excel.
  • Additional tool knowledge of SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerBI
  • Knowledge of Upstream/DS/IG & renewables business and how it works
  • Experience in working together with multi-cultural teams for shift operations for 24x7 support
  • Experience in working with Renewable energy or Power generation plants
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to challenge and ability to build internal and external relationships based on trust and to integrate across multiple functions
