Wolterskluwer is looking for an Associate Director, Sales & Business Development to spearhead the growth of our OneSumX software solutions across the Philippines. You will be instrumental in executing our regional sales strategy within the Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI) sector, managing the complete sales journey from prospecting to deal closure.
What You'll Do
- Execute regional sales strategy and develop the market in designated territories to expand our footprint and brand awareness.
- Manage existing accounts, maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensure high customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from pipeline generation, handling RFIs and RFPs, conducting presentations and demos, to final contract negotiation.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts for all active opportunities.
- Gather in-depth account intelligence, identify decision-makers, understand client business challenges, and compile key information to secure wins.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals to prospects and clients with support from internal teams.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of your territory, including market size, potential, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics.
- Collaborate closely with the Presales team on solution presentations and demonstrations.
- Work with Product Management and Professional Services teams to support and accelerate territory growth.
- Partner with the marketing team on campaigns designed to increase pipeline generation in your designated countries.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of software sales experience specifically within the financial industry.
- A proven track record of success as an individual contributor in the banking software industry.
- Extensive experience selling enterprise software solutions (in Finance, Regulatory, Risk, and ALM domains) to banks.
- Deep understanding of bank workflows, operational processes, and key business challenges.
- A strong network of contacts and established relationships with key decision-makers, particularly CFOs and CROs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- A strategic, results-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on solution selling and effective account management.
Team & Environment
You will be reporting to the Head of Sales, APAC.
Work Mode
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement and is based in Taguig, Manila.
