As our Associate Director, People Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our People Operations team, managing operational aspects globally across HR information, record management, compliance, and process.
What You'll Do
- Manage the integrity of our internal team member data and information within our HRIS systems.
- Generate reports and conduct regular audits to verify data integrity and validate information management.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to HRIS functionality to drive efficiency and automation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable global employment and contractor laws and regulations.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures related to record-keeping, contracts, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential team member records in compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
- Oversee record-keeping processes, including documentation, retention, and disposal.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead or contribute to projects aimed at enhancing HR systems, workflows, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and goal-setting for the People Operations team.
- Design and facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
- Build and manage team processes for new hire onboarding, profile creation, and documentation.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements for team member records and information management.
- Lead the team directly managing contract and employment agreement creation from onboarding to off-boarding.
- Serve as the point of escalation for all document and agreement-related questions.
- Manage the team to operate within agreed-upon SLAs for onboarding and off-boarding.
- Cultivate best-in-class team member support for resolving questions and issues.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in HR operations, with a minimum of 8 years in HR.
- Minimum of 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of record retention, payroll processing, benefits administration, HRIS systems, and employment laws.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in team management.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Google Suite.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative, and responsible.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative yet fully distributed, global team environment.
- Strong desire to solve tough problems and share learnings with others.
