The Associate Director, Paid Search at Zeta Global will lead client relationships and execute paid search campaigns using strategic vision and hands-on management. This role is responsible for guiding client strategy, overseeing campaign performance, and ensuring end-to-end execution across major advertising platforms.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary client contact for paid search strategy and performance discussions.
- Develop and present strategic roadmaps, testing plans, and growth opportunities tailored to client goals.
- Proactively identify areas for optimization and innovation across accounts.
- Oversee end-to-end execution of paid search campaigns, including account setup, budget pacing, optimization, and reporting.
- Actively manage campaigns and monitor performance across Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Ads, and SA360.
- Establish testing frameworks and innovation pipelines to continuously improve results.
- Translate insights into actionable next steps that drive measurable client impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaign execution aligns with client objectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, ensuring best practices are consistently applied.
- Deliver clear, data-driven performance reports and insights to clients – diving into the “why” behind the data.
- Recommend testing strategies, budget allocation shifts, and bid strategy adjustments based on performance trends.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant paid search experience.
- Hands-on experience in managing monthly campaign budgets of $500k+.
- Experience with Google Ads, SA360, Microsoft Ads, and Google Ads Editor.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GA4.
- Experience with Shopping, Vehicle Ads, and Performance Max campaigns.
- Google Ads and Microsoft Ads certification.

Compensation range: $80,000 - $120,000 plus employee equity.
Work Mode
Depending on your location, this role could be hybrid or remote. Offices are located in NYC, Nashville, LA, San Francisco, and Miami.
