HSBC Group is hiring an Associate Director, Markets Treasury Business Manager (Transformation). In this role, you will blend business management responsibilities with transformation expertise to drive front office desk-specific projects end-to-end, including project management, business analysis, and test management, while also supporting the delivery and execution of larger global initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead and deliver desk-specific transformation projects, ensuring objectives and timelines are met.
- Support large-scale global transformation programmes, including requirements gathering, process mapping, test management, and solution design.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the business strategy, including market analysis, benchmarking, and business case preparation.
- Provide business management support to front office teams, including maintaining business continuity plans, desk procedures, and processing operational requests, such as invoices and trading book opening.
- Identify and drive opportunities to leverage AI and digital tools to improve processes, insight, and value delivery.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, sharing best practice and encouraging experimentation in a supportive environment.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in project management, management consulting, or business management, within financial services or a front office environment.
- Sound working knowledge of transformation methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of contributing to business planning and transformation strategy.
- Demonstrated ability in AI, digital tools, and innovative ways of working.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team, collaborating across time zones.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience preparing materials for senior audiences.
