Carrier Global Corporation is hiring an Associate Director for Independent and ICP Sales to lead sales and marketing strategies for Light Commercial products across North America. This remote sales leadership position focuses on growing market share through channel partners, leading a team, and leveraging data-driven insights.
What You'll Do
- Lead the sales team development and succession planning process with your direct reports.
- Coach, develop, and mentor the sales team by providing clear goals and support for high performance.
- Drive sales growth and business development for Carrier, Bryant, and ICP Light Commercial products.
- Develop and influence channel growth strategies with distributors to increase market share and improve customer relations.
- Collaborate with distributor salespeople, managers, operations, purchasing, leadership, and finance.
- Forecast and manage distributor programs, budgets, and sales.
- Engage and coordinate with channel partners and cross-functional teams in marketing, operations, and pricing to achieve objectives.
- Communicate, launch, and lead factory sales and marketing programs with customers.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of work experience in sales, product management/marketing, pricing, or strategy.
- 4+ years of work experience in HVAC Sales.
- 2+ years of experience leading a sales team.
- Ability to travel 50-75% of the time (international and domestic).
- Valid driver’s license.
Nice to Have
- Master’s Degree.
- Prior people management experience.
- Strong technical HVAC background.
- HVAC Sales or any combination of HVAC product management and Sales Engineering.
- Proven ability to meet demanding leadership and team development requirements.
- Thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics, industry trends, and competitor programs.
- Passion for servicing customers and a proven ability to listen to needs and act quickly.
- Strong ability to present convincingly to customers and lead strategic dealer meetings.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and communicate insights clearly.
- Proven ability to execute with speed, stay highly organized, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to think innovatively, take risks, and implement progressive solutions.
- Strong ability to lead and develop diverse, cross-functional teams in a dynamic, matrix environment.
- Excellent executive presentation skills.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access & PowerPoint).

Benefits & Compensation
- Performance-based incentives/bonuses eligibility.
- Salary range: $166,519 - $232,919 annually.
