SRG Global Mining Services is seeking an Associate Director to provide market-leading advice and drive transformational change for clients in the Power & Utilities sector. This critical role focuses on navigating complex regulatory and compliance landscapes, helping clients raise productivity and manage operational risk through holistic changes to their people, processes, data, and technology.
What You'll Do
- Develop risk appetite and management frameworks, translating business strategies into clear metrics.
- Transform how clients leverage people, technology, data, processes, and controls to address operational risks.
- Deliver a portfolio of projects providing clients with evidence-based insights to reduce risk and improve compliance.
- Provide credit risk advice across all credit risk management activities and processes.
- Shape strategy, define policy, and navigate the regulatory environment.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively with Directors and Partners to manage large change programs and respond to regulatory bodies.
- Take ownership for delivery of business analysis activities within a stream of work.
- Perform program/project management office portfolio roles to ensure delivery goals are met.
- Devise and deploy effective communication strategies and supporting materials.
What We're Looking For
- 6-8 years' experience in Professional Services or First Line operations.
- Proven experience in a regulatory, compliance, business operational leadership, or project delivery role.
- Understanding of Compliance approaches and associated frameworks, policies, procedures, and strategies.
- Experience in risk and compliance approaches, methodologies, and techniques (e.g., governance, data risk, operational risk).
- Experience in reviewing, designing, and building compliance management frameworks or elements thereof.
- Leadership skills and experience developing individuals and leading teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
- Highly developed business communication skills, both verbally and through PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations, lead in cross-functional environments, resolve conflicts, drive decisions, and manage ambiguity.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with project team members and senior client stakeholders.
- Ability to leverage waterfall and agile project delivery experience to influence project planning and delivery.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently deliver, and foster an adaptable team culture.
