Allianz is hiring a Senior Project Manager for its Specialty division. You will operate within the Transformation Change Team as a trusted partner, leading project teams to drive the business toward its strategic goals. This role demands an innovative mindset focused on value and outcome-based delivery.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple complex change projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Define and manage project plans, milestones, budgets, and resource needs using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders, managing third-party relationships and commercial terms.
- Drive urgency, pace, and clarity while maintaining strong communication across all stakeholder groups.
- Monitor project benefits and ensure alignment with strategic objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and operational impacts to minimize disruption to business-as-usual.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, support project closure, and contribute to continuous improvement in delivery practices.
- Solve complex problems collaboratively with multiple stakeholders operating across functions.
- Manage escalations within your team, with the project sponsor, and with stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in project and change delivery, having delivered a variety of projects of different types and sizes using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of change management and implementing people, process, and systems change.
- Forward-thinking approach with experience in planning, forecasting, and proactive risk management.
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and removing impediments.
- Excellent communication skills and exemplary stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A growth mindset with process improvement ability, focused on continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage a budget, including forecasting and estimating.
- Experience managing suppliers.
- Understanding of the IT systems development lifecycle.
- Leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience.

- Experience within the Commercial Insurance industry.
