Zions Bancorporation is seeking an Associate Credit Analyst to join the Banker Development Program at Nevada State Bank. This traditional credit training program is designed to develop analysts into well-rounded bankers who will become the company's future leaders, starting with formal training and evolving into sales or portfolio management roles.
What You'll Do
- Participate in case studies and discussion sessions to review concepts introduced in self-study materials.
- Perform credit underwriting according to bank policy.
- Complete bank compliance and regulatory training courses.
- Rotate through various banking lines and groups for on-the-job training during an 8-11 month rotational phase.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related subject.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (must be included in resume or cover letter).
- Completed college-level coursework in Accounting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented, organized, analytical, and proven problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership skills.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Internship or prior work experience.
Team & Environment
You will work one-on-one with high-level bank decision makers, receive introductions to senior management, and participate in department tours.
