Jasper seeks an Associate Counsel to support our AI marketing platform. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements. You will report directly to the General Counsel.
What You'll Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial AI SaaS contracts and technology agreements with customers, vendors, and channel partners.
- Manage regulatory, compliance, and operational issues arising from commercial agreements.
- Analyze and navigate legal and technological issues in AI.
- Help ensure commercial agreement processes and systems scale to serve new initiatives.
- Provide training and develop resources for sales and other cross-functional teams.
- Broaden expertise into product counseling, IP law, and litigation.
What We're Looking For
- A law degree and admission to practice law in good standing in at least one jurisdiction.
- 2+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience.
- Transactional background, including with SaaS, technology, and/or IP licensing and commercial agreements.
- Kindness, warmth, patience, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively, function independently, and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-focused, collaborative work style and willingness to build expertise in an evolving practice.
- Hyper-responsive and service-oriented attitude.
Nice to Have
- Experience with commercial deals involving generative AI.
- Knowledge of intellectual property issues related to generative AI models.
- Familiarity with Ironclad CLM.

- Compensation: $136,000 - $160,000.
