About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead cost planning and budget development for construction initiatives
- Prepare detailed cost estimates at all project stages
- Support procurement processes including tender preparation and contractor evaluation
- Monitor project expenditures and maintain cost control systems
- Produce regular cost reports for project stakeholders
- Assist in risk assessment related to project budgets
- Collaborate with design teams to optimize value engineering
- Manage change order evaluations and cost impact assessments
- Ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards
- Contribute to feasibility studies and project viability analysis
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants on cost matters
- Support lifecycle cost forecasting and benchmarking
- Deliver cost advice during design development phases
- Assist in final account reconciliations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction market trends
- Work on multiple projects across different sectors simultaneously
- Use cost management software and digital tools effectively
- Participate in client meetings and project reviews
- Help ensure projects remain within approved budgets
- Support senior staff in delivering cost consultancy services
