Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Cost Management commissions, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to a high standard of client satisfaction.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Senior Surveyors, Project Surveyors, and Graduates, supporting their development and performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for AECOM clients (both new and existing) across assigned projects, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships.
- Oversee the efficient management of commissions, ensuring effective coordination of resources and delivery teams.
- Identify, develop, and lead bids for Cost Management services across the region, supporting business growth and opportunity generation.
- Ensure all team members under your supervision maintain appropriate and up-to-date training and professional development.
- Manage the delivery of Cost Management outputs in line with agreed timelines, quality expectations, and client requirements.
Requirements
- Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
- Professionally Qualified – Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the SCSI / RICS
- 8-10 years proven experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of CM services including Pre Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
- Understanding of Public Works Contracts and RIAI standard forms of contract
- Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation.
- Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilize digital measurement, cost planning and tender document tools shall be essential.
