Novo Nordisk is seeking an Associate Business Analyst to join our Global Operational Planning (GOP) Supply Chain team within the GBS in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring efficient global supply chain operations, with a focus on production and purchase planning.
What You'll Do
- Support and monitor daily planning activities and KPIs within the GBS environment.
- Support SCI in offshored planning processes and maintain planning-relevant Master Data, evaluating its quality.
- Create and maintain robust production and purchase plans.
- Perform planning performance reporting and evaluate transactional data quality.
- Handle orders from affiliates and regional offices, ensuring feasibility and alignment with production plans.
- Create sequenced and levelled production plans, convert planned orders to process orders, and communicate plans to the site.
- Engage with stakeholders to maintain data quality and support onshore teams with reports, ad hoc analysis, and documentation.
- Log root causes for deviations, investigate preventive actions, and drive continuous process improvements.
What We're Looking For
- A Masters or Bachelors degree in supply chain management, production, mechanical engineering, or an equivalent field from a well-recognized institute.
- 4–6 years of experience in planning and support functions, including managing offshored planning processes.
- Solid understanding of production planning and purchase processes within supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret and process data, driving operational efficiency and informed decision-making.
- Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes—Plan, Make, Source, Deliver, Return—and supporting master data.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hands-on experience with SAP ECC/R3.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with OMP is an added advantage.
