Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is hiring a Litigation Associate Attorney to handle a diverse caseload for clients ranging from individuals to businesses. In this role, you will manage all aspects of litigation from case inception through resolution, developing strategy and driving matters forward.
What You'll Do
- Handle a variety of litigation matters including wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, construction defects, and breach of contract disputes.
- Manage every phase of cases from inception to resolution.
- Develop legal strategy and conduct comprehensive legal research.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other critical court documents.
- Manage all aspects of discovery.
- Argue motions in court.
- Attend mediations and trial.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of civil litigation experience within a law firm environment.
- Proven skill in legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and propounding and responding to discovery.
- Skill in interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to the State Bar of California.
Nice to Have
- Experience taking and defending depositions.
- Experience arguing motions and attending mediations.
- Trial experience.

- Compensation range: $110,000-$155,000 annually plus a performance-based bonus plan.
