Republic Services, Inc. is hiring an Associate Account Manager to proactively maintain and retain relationships with existing commercial and industrial customers within an assigned territory. You will focus on retaining business with smaller, less complex accounts by making and receiving calls, extending contracts, and increasing customer penetration through sales of our full suite of waste services.
What You'll Do
- Proactively maintain and retain existing customers by reaching out on a daily basis.
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the Company’s services, pricing, and lines of business to offer additional services appropriately.
- Perform contractual re-signs with existing customers to extend relationships and increase profitability.
- Respond to all customer cancellation requests following the established escalation policy.
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding company pricing initiatives.
- Utilize Salesforce daily to schedule and document all calls, meetings, and proposals.
- Increase customer penetration by selling the full suite of Republic Services products.
- Meet regularly with your Sales Manager to review retention activities, progress versus goals, and key relationship status.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 0-2 years of customer service experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the waste or transportation industry.
- Account management and sales experience.
- Knowledge and use of a CRM tool.
