Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences in alignment with the company's mission for a premium fresh shopping environment.
- Collaborate with store leadership to implement strategies that improve performance and meet business goals.
- Cultivate a workplace built on trust, inclusivity, and employee well-being through empathetic and emotionally intelligent leadership.
- Advance team growth and engagement via individual coaching, training sessions, recognition programs, and regular team meetings focused on goal setting, achievements, product knowledge, and feedback.
- Work with the Store Manager to build a high-performing team by offering consistent leadership, motivation, and performance guidance while upholding confidentiality.
- Communicate and reinforce company policies and procedures from management updates, handbooks, manuals, and directives to ensure store-wide compliance and consistency.
- Support the execution of Health & Safety and Food Safety initiatives to meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Engage with the local community by attending events and supporting ongoing outreach efforts.
- Assist in achieving core business objectives such as inventory oversight, ordering, product maintenance, quality assurance, stock rotation, shrink control, visual presentation, invoice handling, staffing schedules, and payroll processing.
- Ensure the safety and security of daily operations, including proper opening and closing routines and emergency response when needed.
- Maintain financial accuracy by supervising secure cash handling, recordkeeping, cashier reporting, audits, and refund procedures to protect front-end operations.
- Take on additional duties as needed to support the overall success of the store.
