Responsibilities
- Handle managerial tasks as needed or when the Store Manager is absent.
- Delegate and organize tasks for store personnel as directed by the Store Manager.
- Ensure the store is clean, well-stocked, and organized by following daily procedures.
- Uphold brand image standards and pass all evaluations.
- Manage inventory in coolers, drink boxes, store shelves, and display units, keeping them well-stocked.
- Clean and maintain equipment and prepare high-margin products like coffee and fountain drinks.
- Check refrigeration equipment for proper functioning at least once per shift.
- Assist with daily paperwork and computer data entry.
- Perform all duties of a Sales Associate and Supervisor.
- Attend monthly safety and security meetings.
- Demonstrate self-direction and motivation.
- Practice safe work and risk management habits.
- Meet all performance expectations and complete assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of managerial experience in a convenience store, restaurant, or retail setting.
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and emergency response.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to work alone, stand for extended periods, and without defined breaks.
- Tolerance for varying outdoor climates and in-store cooler environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills.
