Responsibilities
- Respond to tenant and owner inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Handle leasing inquiries, conduct tenant screenings, and assist with move-ins and move-outs.
- Prepare and issue notices (lease renewals, delinquency notices, violations, etc.).
- Support tenant retention efforts and maintain positive resident relationships.
- Assist in advertising and marketing vacant properties.
- Prepare and review lease agreements for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate lease renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Assist with eviction processes in compliance with landlord-tenant laws.
- Create, assign, and track work orders in property management software.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and residents for maintenance scheduling.
- Follow up on open requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy before submission.
- Assist in rent collection and track delinquencies.
- Maintain rent ledgers, process payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Support budgeting, reporting, and financial record-keeping.
- Generate reports for property managers and owners as needed.
- Ensure compliance with fair housing laws, landlord-tenant regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant files, leases, and property documents.
- Collaborate with property managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
