Cushman & Wakefield Global, Inc was looking for an Assistant Property Manager, Multifamily (Floating)

Join Cushman & Wakefield as a Floating Assistant Property Manager for multifamily communities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our properties to a market-ready standard and ensuring a high level of service at all times. You will build and motivate high-performing teams to maximize property performance and uphold our mission to be the best national management company.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist the Property Manager with overall operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
  • Assist in providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
  • Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standards.
  • Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary.
  • Maintain resident files according to company standards.
  • Maintain a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the overall community budget and finances.
  • Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing and marketing goals are met.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Technical/Vocational school is required.
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience.
  • 1+ year of Management experience.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation.
  • General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills, along with excellent oral and written communication.
  • Ability to manage a team.

Nice to Have

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Team & Environment

You will assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, reporting directly to the Property Manager.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position.
