About the Role

Emory University School of Medicine is hiring an Assistant Professor of Medicine to join its Division of Infectious Diseases. You will contribute to the division's clinical, research, and teaching missions within a leading academic medical center.

What You'll Do

  • Provide attending physician coverage for inpatient and outpatient clinical services at Emory-affiliated hospitals.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and formally teach residents, medical students, and active Infectious Diseases fellows.
  • Develop an active independent research program in the area of infectious diseases.

What We're Looking For

  • Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases by the date of hire.
  • Medical licensure for the State of Georgia and DEA certificates at the date of hire.
  • Submission of three letters of reference.
  • Satisfactory completion of three years of Internal Medicine residency training in an ACGME-accredited program.
  • Satisfactory completion of at least two years of Infectious Diseases fellowship training at the date of hire.

Team & Environment

You will join the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position. Clinical services are delivered at Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital-Midtown, Grady Memorial Hospital, and the Atlanta VA Medical Center.
