Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across two school campuses, ensuring excellence in non-instructional areas such as office management, student data systems, nutrition, transportation, health services, facilities, technology, and enrollment.
- Maintain 85% retention of operations staff by establishing consistent coaching, feedback, and talent development practices.
- Use the APO Priorities Calendar to assess team progress and align support based on performance goals and leadership input.
- Reach full projected enrollment for both Academy and College Prep schools by the first day of instruction through targeted local recruitment.
- Lead recruitment efforts to meet grade-specific application targets with a 3:1 applicant-to-opening ratio, ensuring high-quality applications convert to enrollment.
- Ensure new families are successfully integrated and remain enrolled through their first academic year.
- Follow all federal, state, and organizational requirements during student registration, including transfers and testing procedures.
- Achieve 97.5% Average Daily Attendance by clearly communicating expectations, especially to PreK and Kindergarten families.
- Supervise implementation of standardized attendance accountability systems, including escalation protocols and official attendance times.
- Monitor attendance data daily and cumulatively, share findings with stakeholders, and adjust strategies weekly to improve outcomes.
- Apply proven strategies and tracking tools to advance progress toward Average Daily Attendance performance targets.
- Collaborate with school leadership teams to energize and execute attendance initiatives for maximum effectiveness.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with federal and state attendance regulations and keep team practices aligned with policy updates.
- Ensure 90% of newly enrolled students continue through the school year.
- Partner with Academic Counselors to foster a positive school culture through recognition, events, and student engagement activities.
- Establish a system to regularly collect, review, and act on feedback from parents and students regarding non-instructional services.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding experience for new families from application through the first year of enrollment.
- Deliver high operational and financial performance in auxiliary services, tracking metrics like cost per square foot and cost per transportation rider.
- Ensure all auxiliary service teams deliver exceptional customer service while meeting efficiency and budget goals.
- Provide indirect oversight and tactical support for Transportation and Child Nutrition programs.
- Directly supervise, coach, and develop Certified Nurse Assistants and Facilities Managers.
- Guarantee campus safety and full operational readiness one week before the first day of school.
- Lead all Beginning of Year preparations, including full staffing, onboarding, and summer training attendance.
- Attain an average score of 3.5 on both parent and staff Beginning of Year surveys.
- Meet or exceed a 90-point score on the Beginning of Year quality assessment.
Compensation
