Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, confident, and attentive service that enhances the fresh grocery shopping experience.
- Collaborate with the Department Manager to implement department plans and meet performance targets.
- Support team growth through training, coaching, recognition, and maintaining professionalism and trust.
- Lead regular team meetings to communicate goals, celebrate successes, share product insights, and strengthen team engagement.
- Assist in daily operations by maintaining excellent customer service, proper product display, inventory rotation, staffing levels, and department cleanliness.
- Handle administrative duties such as inventory tracking, ordering supplies, processing invoices, managing schedules, and payroll tasks.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, health, and safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure and high-quality environment.
- Assist with additional duties as needed to support overall store performance and objectives.

- A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
- Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in business, plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by effectively managing competing priorities while maintaining a high level of performance.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills supported by a clear, professional communication style.
- Comfort learning and using manual and automated systems, with prior experience working with a variety of computer software programs.
- Thrive in a hands-on setting that involves extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, and work that may be performed in cooler, freezer, and outdoor conditions.
- Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
