The Assistant Manager, Trade Marketing plays a key role in shaping and executing promotional initiatives for consumer electronics across national and channel-specific retail environments. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with sales goals, ensuring campaigns are both impactful and compliant.
What You'll Do
- Design and roll out tailored and large-scale promotions, tracking performance at the outlet level and refining strategies based on sell-out data.
- Analyze promotional effectiveness before and after execution, using insights to guide future planning and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor competitive activity, pricing trends, and retail execution, providing actionable feedback to marketing and sales teams.
- Lead retail innovation projects, including visual merchandising development, planogram creation, and shelf audits to improve product visibility and placement.
- Manage end-to-end event execution for new product launches and consumer activations, ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
- Ensure merchandising compliance across modern and traditional trade outlets through audits, guidelines, and training materials.
- Oversee procurement of promotional materials and point-of-sale assets in line with company policies and budget constraints.
- Track marketing spend, maintain budget discipline, and establish KPIs to measure trade efficiency and campaign ROI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or business development within the technology or FMCG sectors.
- Proven background in trade marketing, with emphasis on promotions, merchandising, and channel partnerships.
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using systems such as TIM, Cores, and Procure to Pay.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with precision and problem-solving agility.
- In-depth understanding of retail operations, dealer networks, and channel dynamics.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence outcomes.
